Neighbourhood

One of the best locations in Nice!  Just off Place Massena and next to Galleries La Fayette.  The tramway is just a minute walk away from your Nice holiday rental apartment, which will take you to the main SNCF train station, and all across the Cote d’Azur (even Italy) for your favourite day trips.

Minutes on foot from Nice’s Old Town (otherwise known as the Vieux Nice), the beach, the luxury strip with Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and their ilk, or even high street shopping at Zara, Mango, and Espirit.

Shopping, restaurants, sunlit dining terraces, and the mingling nightlife await you at your doorstep.

Building

Beautiful typically Nicoise building from the 1800’s. The entire building block has been completely gutted and renovated to the highest standard.  Extra large, new elevator, spot lighting, and gold fixtures throughout make the commons area a rare experience for Nice!  The self-catering rental apartment is found on the top 4th floor.

Living area

This Nice apartment's living room is wonderfully spacious and airy.  With double height ceilings, light wood floors, and south facing windows--it is a pleasure to be in.

The living area is an open plan design, which includes the kitchen. There is an en suite bathroom with sink, toilet, and walk-in shower with rain head. 

There are two sofas, which comfortably seats five people. One of them includes a high quality sleeper mattress, British King size (160cm). 

An extra large plasma flat screen TV with French channels and DVD player are beset in a custom-made wall unit.  The wall unit also has hanging space for a second couple to use.

There is a reading lamp and coffee table that conveniently opens up to table height for easy and quick dining.

Finally, there is an air conditioning unit for those balmy summer August evenings on the French Riviera

* One of the sofas can also be transformed into a high quality British King Size bed. This holiday rental apartment in Nice can therefore accommodate up to 4 people. Please note there is an additional charge for sofa bed linen & towels in order to accommodate 4 people comfortably.

 

Kitchen

Your Nice holiday accommodation's kitchen is newly fitted and modern, fitted in a dark wood and stainless steel.

Full size fridge/freezer, oven, dishwasher, ceramic hob, and a clothes washing machine can all be found neatly tucked away behind the kitchen facade, in this vacation rental. 

 

Bedrooms

The main bedroom is upstairs in a glass-enclosed loft.  It has a British King-size bed (160cm), two side tables, reading lights, and a flat screen TV with French digital channels.

There is a hanging cupboard and shelves--once again neatly thought out and discreetly placed behind the custom-made wall unit.

A view of the sea and Ferris wheel can be found from the skylight, should you dare to stick your head out!  The skylight has a shade to block out light and allow sleeping in.  There is also an air-conditioning unit in this self-catering holiday rental apartment.

There is a second en suite bathroom with sink, toilet, and walk in-shower with rain head.

 

Bathrooms & WC

There are 2 full bathrooms both on the 1st and 2nd floors.  They both are equipped with a sink, toilet, and walk-in shower. They are both in the exact same style, with the main upstairs shower about 4sqm with an extra large double walk, whereas the 2nd  shower in the downstairs bathrooms is a normal sized single walk shower.

They are fitted with luxury fittings, stone tiles, relaxing rain shower heads, and glass doors.

-- Beach towels are available in apt, but must be left clean, ready for the next guest -- otherwise, a supplement of 15€ per beach towel will be charged via credit card upon departure.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jasmin particularly the location and the roominess of the apartment. The location is steps away from many restaurants and the sea, and within very close walking distance to Old Nice and other local sites. The apartment was very clean, well apportioned and in a very nice building. We were also very impressed with the responsiveness and how the team supported us when our arrival time was delayed due to train delays . What great service . Merci beaucoup and au revoir.

We loved this quirky top floor apartment in the best location within metres of Place Massena. It was comfortable for relaxing in between excursions around the city and beyond, and contained all the basics needed, with a few extras! The agent Daniela is very easily reached by phone and proved to be most helpful in practical ways, like organising a cheaper taxi ride to the airport.

Very nice experience. This place is locate in the centre of all the activities, within walking distance of the Old Town, the Promenade des Anglais, of hundreds of restaurants and shops. 1 minute walk to the bakery and the supermarkets and of Place Massena of course.. Next door to the Tram. A perfect location! Safe environment. Very clean apartment. Excellent reception. We would go back anytime.

This was our 2nd stay in Jasmin with our 2 boys aged 7 and 10, both of whom love the apartment as much as we do. They love the mezzanine. Kitchen has everything you need should you wish to cook, 2 bathrooms which is great when all 4 of you need to get ready to go out and the best sofa bed I have ever sat and slept in. The holiday rental apartment is in a quiet building and conveniently located for the shops, beach, old town, tram, supermarket and there is a lovely boulangerie across the road for fantastic quiches and bread. We will definitely book again!!

From the first minute to the last, The Jasmine apartment was absolutely perfect for us. We L-O-V-E-D IT! Not only was the apartment exactly what it said it would be, but everything else included with this rental met our expectations. The service level that is offered with this agency let us choose "a little or a lot" and everything we asked for was done so well. The car service from the airport set the tone and the agent who was assigned to us was spectacular. This restored building is urban chic and beautifully done. The location let us turn left out the door to be part of the neighborhood or turn right out the door to have access to everything on Place de Macena. We chose to walk everywhere in Nice and could do it quite easily. We went to The Flower Market in the old city center, the antique markets on Sunday & Monday, as well as the markets & shops in our neighborhood for a full local experience. Within a block we had a grocery market, a chocolate shop, a bakery and so many cafes. Shopping for high-end or basic needs was all at our fingertips. We rented a car to drive into The Maritime Alps, visiting Biot, Grasse and Tourette-sur-loup (artisan village/our favorite). We took the train to Ventimiglia, Italy for lunch and took the train to Monaco for the races; all done with ease. We will use Sunlight Properties again and again. They are wonderful managers and truly consider themselves your hosts. (USA - May 2016)

Sunlight properties provide a free transfer service from the train station. This was a very helpful service. Once at the property we met our host, who was very helpful. She showed us through the apartment and provided us with a map of Nice. She also answered our questions about what to see and do. This was a great services also. The apartment was very clean and modern. The kitchen was very well appointed, featuring a dishwasher and washing machine. The apartment was spacious and had two bathrooms. Overall, the apartment was very fresh and tastefully decorated. Wifi and other amenities were available and provided a good service. The location was great. The apartment is located minutes from the tram stop (tram goes to the train station) and on the edge of the old town.

Modern furnished, clean and centrally located. Suitable for family stays with self-catering facility. Comfortable for 4 persons. Right at Place Massena with access to tram literally in 2 minutes. Shops, tourist offices, SNFC rail station, etc just minutes from apartment. Our friendly host Ivan made our stay a pleasurable right from the start. The old city (Vieille Ville) and the beach (Ave des Anglais) is just a short stroll away. 15-20 minutes to airport by taxi.

“Excellent location and fantastic service” Our little family stayed at the Jasmin during our first holiday in Nice. Needless to say that it was an awesome vacation. But what really made the difference was the fact that we had an appartment located nearby everything. We didn't even need to rent a car since everything was walkable to. The location of this place is PERFECT!!! Also, I must mention the terrific job the Sunlight team have provided us. Our agent Ivan was just amazing and really helpful. He made everything so easy and accommodating for us. Despite the fact that this appartment is suitable for 4, they manage to accommodate us 5 without a problem. So overall, the Jasmin is definitely the place to choose if you are looking for a clean, modern yet cozy place to stay.

I used Sunlight Properties for my recent (June 2014) stay in Nice and found them to be very professional. My emails were dealt with in a timely manner and the apartment (Jasmin) was fantastic. I was offered a complimentary taxi to collect my husband and I at the airport, but as we were arriving by bus, we did not need it. When I asked if we could take a taxi to the airport when we were leaving, they did not hesitate, even though the rental agreement stated that the complimentary taxi was applicable to arrivals only. Ivan, the local agent, was very agreeable and offered to meet us at the bus stop on arrival. The apartment was cool and welcoming and I appreciated that Ivan had turned on the AC and a couple of lights. Our security deposit was refunded upon departure and we hopped in to the waiting taxi.
